Electric - Acoustic - Bass
Welcome to the String family at Andy Corby Music. Pick, strum, tap, slap, slide- it's your choice.

Electric Guitar
The electric guitar is one of the most popular
modern instruments and that's probably because it has to be plugged in and can be very loud, with metallic and agressive harmonic effects.
But really it is simply a strung instrument that can
be manipulated through an amplifier to create an enormous range of tones, timbres and dynamics. For sure the standard rock overdrive sound is achieved with ease, but that's a small area that runs alongside the rest.

Acoustic Guitar
The natural sound of nylon or steel strings and the convenience of pick up and play wherever you are makes the acoustic guitar a must for any player and it's usually the one that's been kicking around for years but not played in most homes.
It is also an amazing solo instrument with no limits and many songwriters use the acoustic as it gives instant results and can be a complete backing track.

Bass Guitar
Super cool low end sound that forms part of the rhythm section, the bass guitar is the glue that helps hold everything together and although not as obvious to everyone, it also has an amazing range of sounds and techniques along with the choice of electric or acoustic.
